Hair color developer is more than a percentage printed on a bottle. Its peroxide level, viscosity, emulsion structure, mixing behavior, package and storage conditions all affect how it works with color cream or lightener. Keronhair evaluates the developer in the context of its intended partner product and use instructions.
Common commercial directions include 10, 20, 30 and 40 volume equivalents, often associated with approximately 3%, 6%, 9% and 12% hydrogen peroxide. Availability, labeling and suitability must be confirmed for the formula, intended use and destination market. The highest strength is not automatically the best choice; the system should be selected around the desired color service and validated performance.
For professional brands, developers can be planned as a coordinated family with clear strength differentiation. For at-home kits, component size, mixing ratio and instruction clarity become central. For bleach systems, the project must consider powder wetting, consistency and service expectations.

Compatibility and stability should be assessed using the actual formula and packaging selected for production.
