The purchasing scope may include waxes, oils, water-phase materials, emulsifiers, fragrance, color, preservatives, jars, caps, liners, labels, cartons, and shipping cases. The supplier and grade of each critical material matter. An unapproved substitution can change the pomade’s appearance, texture, fragrance, stability, or regulatory status.
